Q1. Can you send a sales person to our office?
Answer: No. If you need any assistance, please email or contact us directly.
Q2. How do I get a custom quote?
Answer: Please email us your request via our contact form.
NOTE: we may not respond within the same day if the items you requested for is complicated or not clear.
Q3. Will you match a sample I print from my own printer, or a previously printed sample?
Answer: There is no guarantee that your finished piece will approximate with your printed sample. This is due to the widely varying results from different output devices including inkjet and laser printers, continuous tone proofing devices, high resolution film-based proofs, and different than true offset lithography. Even from one commercial printing firm to another, there can be significant differences in results. In particular, inkjet and laser prints are known to look substantially different than true offset lithography. Please refer to our "printing policy" for more information.
Q4. Can I get a discount if I reorder my job?
Answer: Our price are fixed and good for per order only. No further discount may be given except during our promotion period.
Q5. How do I send my files to you?
Answer: You may send in the final files via email (if it's less than 10mb), thumb drive or through website such as www.wetransfer.com or www.dropbox.com.
Q6. How long does it take for me to get the proof of my job?
Answer: You will receive a low resolution digital proof via email within 24hours. This proof is NOT a colour proof, it only serves as a confirmation that we are printing the correct files.
Q7. Will I receive the exact quantity that I ordered?
Answer: Most of the time, the quantity delivered to you is slightly more than what you ordered, with no additional charge. Printing industry's trade standard allows for underages of up to 5%. If you plan to send your print order to a mailing list or need a guaranteed quantity, we recommend that you order 5% more than the minimum quantity you need.
Q8. What if I want to amend my order after order confirmation or after proof endorsement?
Answer: You may still amend the order, depending on the production stage of the order. If printing is done, no changes is allowed.
Artwork design for final print must meet the 3 requirements below.
1.Bleed Area, Trim Size and Safe Area
2.Colour Mode, Image
3.File Format
1. Bleed Area, Trim Size and Safe Area
Sample-Final File Setting
Sample-Final Product
Correct File Setting:
Bleed Area:
The black line of the artwork shows the bleed area. To prevent unwanted white border from your final print, make sure to extend any background colors or design to the edge.
Trim Line:
The pink line is called the trim line, the line where the artwork will be trimmed after it is printed. Due to the mechanical tolerances in printing, the actual cut can happen anywhere between the bleed area and the safe margin. This is why it is important to keep your text and important images within the safe margin.
Safe Area:
Make sure to keep all important information, like names, addresses, phone numbers and logos within the safe margin (at least 3mm from the edge) otherwise it could get cut off when your artwork is trimmed.
Incorrect File Setting!
1. The image is merely extended to the trim line, and does not bleed to the edge. White border may show at the edge of your final product.
2. Some part of the logo is out of the safe area and might be cut off at the green line.
2. Color Mode and Image
